Privacy policy

At QuantMundi (https://quantmundi.com) we respect your privacy. This policy explains what data is collected when you use the site, why, and what choices you have. You don’t need to create an account to use the tool.

1. Data we store in your browser

Your asset list and your preferences (light or dark theme, language, cookie choice) are saved in your browser’s local storage (localStorage). They are not sent to our servers and you can delete them at any time from your browser settings.

2. Data processed by our calculation server

When you request an optimization, we send our server the list of assets and the parameters you chose (method, period, currency, constraints, language). That data is used only to calculate the result and is not linked to your identity. Like any web server, we temporarily log the IP address to limit abuse (requests per minute) and to diagnose errors.

3. Cookies and advertising (Google AdSense)

We fund the site with Google AdSense ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your previous visits to this or other sites. You can turn off personalized advertising in Google’s ad settings and learn more about how Google uses cookies in advertising.

The first time you visit, we ask for your consent. If you decline, ads are shown without personalization (Google consent mode). You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.

4. Analytics

We measure, in aggregate, how the site is used (pages visited, optimizations run, filters used) in order to improve it. If we use Plausible, no cookies are set and no personal data is collected. If we use Google Analytics 4, it’s only enabled when you accept analytics, with the IP address anonymized.

5. Affiliate links

Some pages may include broker affiliate links, labeled “affiliate link”. If you open an account through them we may receive a commission. To choose which broker to show, we use the approximate country of your connection, which we don’t store.

6. Third parties

• Google AdSense (advertising) — Google LLC.
• Plausible Analytics or Google Analytics 4 (analytics), depending on configuration.
• Hosting provider for the site and the calculation server.
• Market data provider (prices are downloaded by our server, not by your browser).

7. Your rights

Depending on the law in your country (for example, the GDPR in Europe, the UK GDPR, the CCPA in California, PIPEDA in Canada or the LGPD in Brazil) you can request access to, correction of or deletion of your data. Since we have no user accounts, almost all data lives in your own browser. For any request, write to us at contact@quantmundi.com.

The site is not intended for people under 18.

We may update this policy. We’ll publish the current version on this page with its update date.
